5. Deleting  and renaming files

Select FTP->Delete and FTP->Rename... to delete and rename the selected local or remote file, respectively. Note: Currently the renaming or deletion of folders or links is not supported.

6. Transferring ROM and RAM areas

CCTransfer allows you to transfer selected parts of your machine's address space to the connected remote host. This may be your machines ROM or selected parts of the RAM, e.g. the screen memory. Select File->Options->ROM Transfer to make the necessary settings.

In the root folder of the local machine you will find a file "ROM.BIN". If you select it and then press the upload button the contents of the specified address range will be transferred to the remote host into a file that's also called ROM.BIN.

If you attempt to transfer data from an address that is not within reach of the processor and hence causes a memory exception, CCTransfer will catch the exception and abort the transfer. You may want to try CCMemory, our freeware memory viewer for Palm PC's, to get an overview of your machines address space in advance.
